Colour was hugely important for Holly, in our initial consultation she already had a very clear vision for her colour palette - ‘bright but not garish - think Italian plaster’. I grew a collection of sweet peas and calendula just with Holly in mind - and arranged them with garden roses, dahlias and peonies blooming in sunset shades, highlighted with pops of white daisy-like feverfew.
