Wedding flowers.
Flowers are a wonderful way to create a truly special atmosphere on your wedding day. They have the power to elevate a simple space into somewhere very special, or to heighten the beauty of an already ornate setting. Flowers represent romance and joy, and to my mind there is nothing more romantic or joyful than an English country garden in full and abundant bloom. My designs are very much inspired by the garden, and my approach is to bring the beauty of the garden to your wedding day.
You can choose from ‘full service’ or ‘collection only’.
Full service is what it says on the tin - your full floral design service from bespoke moodboard to packing down the day after your wedding.
Collection only is where I create your wedding party flowers based on a loose colour palette chosen with you. I then provide cut flower buckets for you to create your own venue flowers, and you collect everything from the garden the day before your wedding.
Whichever your choice, we’ll be led by what’s the most beautiful in the garden at the moment of your wedding. I use only locally grown flowers, many from my own cutting garden which is nurtured using organic techniques. That’s partly because I think sustainability is important, but also because I really think these are the most gorgeous flowers possible. My flowers are grown outdoors, so they are shaped by the wind, the rain and the sun to produce shapely blooms with lots of character and movement inherent in each stem. All of this helps to create wedding flowers brimming with whimsy and scent, capturing the pure romance of a Cornish country garden.
I am a small scale studio and take on a handful of weddings each season so that I can provide a very personalised service to each couple. I take time to listen to your aspirations for your flowers, advising how to get the most from your space and budget and designing arrangements which will be truly unique, memorable and show stopping.
